Rev. Bill Martin
REV. WILLIAM T. MARTIN 96 Margie Drive Centerville, GA 31028 478-953-4742 TESTIMONY I was saved when eleven years old, at my home church, Rose Lane Baptist Church. I did not fully understand the significance of this event. I continued going to church but never grew in my Christian life. In my late teens I drifted away from the church. I realized years later, while in military service, I was running from God and His call to full time service. He then put our son in a death bed situation to get my attention. I begged forgiveness and committed my life to Him. He healed our son and my life has been different ever since. CALL I had run from God’s call for years. He finally made it clear I was to be His servant. This occurred while I was in Turkey. For three months I wrestled with this when He laid out His chain of events, which culminated one Sunday in Galatian Baptist Mission, Ankara, Turkey. The preaching service lasted five minutes. The pastor said, “God has spoken to someone, they have responded as He wanted and it is now time to close.” The peace and joy that overwhelmed me, I cannot put into words. Praise Him! When He leads He works miracles. GOALS Soul winning is number one priority. Helping people find their order of priorities and growing spiritually is number two. The Lord wants me in His work ministering to His children. I want to be sure I let Him lead in all things, at all times. CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE Served as deacon for five years.
